I’m pretty sure this is the extent of my colour-blocking capabilities. I had obnoxious bright fushia shorts on before, but I felt like Rainbow Brite vomited all over my body so I changed into my default scalloped shorts. I’ve been trying to embrace colours as of late because they’re trendy and fun/I always feel out of the loop dressed head to toe in taupes, beiges and combinations of those two that usually resonate in a blush pink of some sort. I guess I’ve always been one for the occasional pop of neon, but I figured I would try my luck at three neon things in one outfit. I’m realizing now that I’m resembling a highlighter more than anything, but it’s okay I guess. At least my hair isn’t green anymore.

Aside from one project and one exam, I’m pretty much free for the summer! I’ve dedicated today to lazing around the house, cleaning my room, and possibly cracking open The Hunger Games. If I underline that does it add ominous emphasis? Maybe. I’m probably one of like ten people in my general age vicinity that hasn’t read the series/watched the movie so I figured today was the day to get myself a bit more pop-culturally involved.

Also, I’m realizing that I must seem like some kind of conformist with my pseudo-colour-blocking attempts and sudden interest in The Hunger Games (is it working? Bold and underline?? So fancy), but I really feel like I’ve been living under a rock for the past 3 months because this semester has sucked the soul out of my body, (DO YOU SEE MY EYEBAGSSSS?!), and I think I might need to listen to Death Cab repeatedly/in copious amounts…forever…in order to remedy that situation.
