strawberry blonde

When I’m not complaining about my hair, I’m talking about my lack of summer internship or things that happen at my part-time job or why I hate school. There are so many interesting things going on in my life it is insane. Not. But um, to respect the rules pertaining to chronological order and stuff, (what?), today’s topic will be my hair! Yay! So exciting and different!

Previously, I used a pastel pink temporary dye to negate the garish green tint to my hair. It ended up transforming it into this really fun shade of silvery lilac which I really enjoyed until I washed my hair and it turned back to green…(but that’s another story). Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to try pastel pink again!! Until I forgot my hair was no longer green!! So now, instead of a pretty silvery lilac, my hair is an awkward shade of strawberry blonde that reminds me too much of when my hair was orange. I guess it would look okay if my entire head was strawberry blonde…or blonde…or silvery lilac…but I’m kind of in a sad pickle and I am unsure if I should be running my head under the faucet and scrubbing my hair back to boring blonde ombre. Sad life.

My hair is a constant work in progress. I’ve been talking about getting a haircut for the past 3 years, but am not ballsy enough to do anything drastic. I had this really bad short hair experience when i was in Grade 11 and have since been really weary to try anything remotely similar at risk of looking like a boyish elf man weirdo. So I figure continuously dying my hair different colours is enough to make me semi-interesting. But instead, my hair is dead and sad and damaged, and in general, I think I’m at a point where no amount of fun colours can remedy this dilemma.

And here are some pictures of hair that I wish was mine!!! But will never ever happen!!!!

I can totally relate. I am currently in the process of growing out my hair after having buzzed it.
