Invested in these $25 children’s Vans and dubbed them as my “work” shoes; mostly because they’re ideal for running around and distracting children, but also because they are a generally practical footwear choice for someone who is on their feet for 8 hours at a time. My last “full” shift before my internship starts was today, and admittedly, it was kind of bittersweet. Although I’m happy to be doing something other than spending my days at H&M, I’m also sad to have to adapt to forever empty pockets.

I never really mentioned what I’m up to this summer, but now seems like a semi-appropriate time to tell you. Within the next week, (and for the next 3.5 months), you’ll be seeing my contributions to FORA, MTV’s beauty, fashion and lifestyle blog.
