The time has come.

Christmas is lingering near and it’s getting rather difficult not to want to invest all your time in preparing for Christmas cheer!!!! I didn’t really intend for that sentence to rhyme…but it happened, I’m going to deal with it, and you should too. After all, the days until Christmas are so few it’s kind of difficult to be angry!

Despite the fact that I pulled 3 all-nighters this week, stayed in my pajamas for a collective total of 80 hours, and essentially committed myself to be a recluse, holiday spirit has still rendered a permanently good mood. My mom set up our decorations in early November, so I’ve long adapted to the sparkly lights and mini Christmas village atop the mantle, but schoolwork has made me lost all perception of time. It’s only recently that I noticed how close December 25th really is, and ever since, I’ve been scrambling to get myself organized. Though I’m not technically done the semester as of yet, I sincerely believe gift shopping takes a much larger prescience.

So as I sleeplessly finish up my last project, I’d like to send my best wishes to all the other students out there! Happy holidays, no matter whatever you celebrate; remember, the end (of the school year) is near (for some of you…lol)!

Here’s what I wore Thursday after leaving my house for the first time in 48 hours. I got these Rachel Comey shoes from Solestruck’s Black Friday sale a couple weeks ago, and received them in the mail earlier on Thursday. After concluding that they’re probably the most normal and classy shoes that I own, I attempted to look sophisticated by putting on a blazer. It didn’t work.

Oh, and since I’m counting down the days until Christmas, I figured I might as well share this with you guys. You know, so you can countdown the days with cut-out paper unicorns. Bye.
